Guitar

Grayson Smith
Schedule: Sat
Grayson has been playing guitar since he was 12 years old after hearing artists like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin and deciding he wanted to play like them. He spent most of his free time after school learning to play his favorite songs from the internet. He is primarily self-taught but took private lessons for about a year during high school in order to expand upon his guitar knowledge and technique. His ultimate goal was always to join a band and write his own music.

Since then, he played lead guitar for a band that signed to one of the biggest independent record labels, released an album and went on national tours. Besides music, his other passion is teaching people of all abilities. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Psychology and has over 7 years of experience working in classroom settings and private sessions under his belt. The majority of this work has been with children with special needs. He looks forward to teaching guitar to anyone ready to learn and have fun!
