Drums

Ben Wood
Ben has been playing drums professionally since he was 19 years old. Originally from Sacramento California, Ben grew up with a passion for drums from an early age. From playing in churches starting at the age of 11, to taking his high school rock band from band practice in the garage all the way to being signed by a major record label, Ben has always found the most joy out of performing on stages of all sizes. Now in Nashville, TN, Ben strives to share that love of drums and performance with anyone who is willing to learn. He is passionate about helping the next generation achieve their musical dreams just as his mentors did for him when he was young. His lessons are focused on helping his students gain the practical knowledge of how to turn the drum set into a vehicle to make a living. Ben places a heavy emphasis on applying music to the lessons as well as exposing his students to technology that drummers can use to make themselves more diverse such as working with Ableton, Roland SPDSX, and more. Ben currently plays for and tours with multiple country artists in Nashville, does recording sessions and teaches at the music school he owns, Music Lab Nashville. He is excited to meet you and help you make your musical dream a reality!
